While Starr isn’t typecasted in the role of a character battling his inner self through the darkness within him, there is no doubt that he plays the part perfectly. He may not be part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe or the DC Universe yet but he has shown through Homelander that a role in the franchises wouldn’t be an opportunity anyone would regret. As such, the possibility may be nigh.
Antony Starr and James Gunn May Be Planning Something
It is not uncommon for celebrities to follow each other when they get together to work on projects. On different platforms such as Instagram and X, they would follow each other, in almost a subtle way announcing a possible collaboration. Recently, fans have come to notice that Antony Starr and James Gunn have started following each other on Instagram.
Seeing how out of the blue this seems, the speculations have already begun. While split into two minds, the dilemma follows characters with the most starkly opposite personalities ever. One of those choices happens to be Booster Gold. While fans were also eyeing Glen Powell for the role, his name is also one that is coming up in the run.
Although Booster Gold might fit the actor because of his physical attributes, Starr may be better suited for playing a DC villain as compared to a hero.

Antony Starr may look like a Booster Gold but he could perfectly embody a Reverse Flash. Fans have so far seen Tom Cavanagh and Matt Letscher take on the roles in the Arrowverse, but a live-action debut of the character is still remaining for the DC Universe. The Boys actor might be the perfect choice for the character.
Fans agree that he is better suited as a villain rather than a hero. Instead of Booster Gold, he could still fit the physical requirements of Reverse Flash while also taking on his personality in the best possible way. For a future Flash project, fans already have their eyes set on its villain.
While the fear of being typecast persists, that is not to say that he won’t fit the role perfectly. There is no doubt that he could take on good characters just as well as bad, but based on what has already been shown, the latter seems to be a more promising case.
