Disney+ reveals a final title for the WandaVision spinoff series along with a streaming premiere date.

Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, casts a spell in WandaVision

Marvel Studios has unveiled what seems to be the final title for the WandaVision spinoff series after a series of different title changes. Also announced is the premiere date for the show on Disney+.

On X, Marvel Studios shared a teaser video showcasing some of the different reported titles that have been given to the show throughout its development. This is accompanied by the famous “Agatha All Along” song from WandaVision, with the series of titles in the video ending with Agatha All Along. This seemingly suggests that the title changes have been orchestrated by Kathryn Hahn’s Agatha Harkness as a way of messing with Marvel fans. Marvel also revealed that the show will have a two-episode premiere on Sept. 18, 2024.

While the series was in production, Disney and Marvel had released different title cards at various points, leading to speculation that the WandaVision spinoff was undergoing continuous title changes. It’s now rumored that all of the previous titles are actually the titles for different episodes of the series. They are showcased in the new teaser, which calls back to the titles of The Darkhold DiariesHouse of HarknessCoven of Chaos, and The Lying Witch with Great Wardrobe.

What Will Happen in Agatha All Along?

There’s still a lot that’s not known about the WandaVision spinoff, though it will obviously feature Kathryn Hahn returning as Agatha Harkness following the events of the previous series. Debra Jo Rupp and Emma Caulfield Ford are both returning from WandaVision to reprise their respective roles as Sharon Davis (aka Mrs. Hart) and Sarah Proctor (aka Dottie Jones). The cast also includes Aubrey Plaza, Joe Locke, Patti LuPone, Sasheer Zamata, and Ali Ahn.

“It’s an amazing cast. I’m in awe of everyone’s work in this show and I think people are going to be surprised,” Hahn said of her co-stars in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, going on to tease the big twists that will be featured in the show. “I don’t — I think they’re gonna think it’s one way and, of course, it’s gonna go a million different avenues kinda like WandaVision.”

Jac Schaeffer created the series and directed the first episode. Other directors include Gandja Monteiro and Rachel Goldberg. Schaeffer executive produces alongside Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, and Brad Winderbaum.
