One of his teammates on the Patriots that season was wide receiver Julian Edelman, who fans have been joking about for years since the scandal was discovered. The joke has been that Edelman and Brady are gay for each other, and now we finally have Edelman’s response.

MLFootball posted a clip to X with Edelman’s comments during Brady’s roast, which was live on Netflix. Edelman can be heard talking about the controversy, saying, “THOSE BALLS WEREN’T GOING TO DEFLATE THEMSELVES.”

Gronk also made fun of the Brady-Edelman tandem, giving Edelman the nickname “squirrel” because he always loved having Tom Brady’s nuts in his mouth.” Belichick also added that “it was so hard to but heads with Tom because it was so far up Alex Guerrero’s a**.”

While this may not be a game, many fans may consider this the best night in NFL history, as we have gotten to say so many things that the league would never allow. We have to wonder, though… who’s up next?
