But don’t tell that to the Barstool Sports president, who expressed anger over being snubbed during the “BFFs” podcast.

“I thought I was a little bit of a bigger star than I am. Clearly, I overestimated myself. Everyone in the sun made it to the event. I didn’t even get a ‘Hey, we’re doing’…Half my company was there and got invited apparently, except me, which is strange…Other than that, it was great.”

Portnoy is a renowned die-hard fan of the Boston sports teams, and given his platform, one can understand why he truly expected and hoped for an invitation. But again, there was no way of fitting every high-profile celebrity, athlete or sports personality connected to Brady.

Tom Brady Is Gearing Up For His NFL Analyst Career

It’d be easy to understand why some folks were skeptical about Tom Brady staying retired last year, seeing how his initial retirement only lasted 40 days. But TB12 is indeed done as a professional football player, and now he’s getting ready to begin his highly-anticipated career as an NFL analyst for FOX Sports.

Brady signed a 10-year deal with the network worth a whopping $375 million back in 2022. He’s set to begin the contract this fall, where the soon-to-be 47-year-old will work alongside play-by-play man Kevin Burkhardt and sideline reporter Erin Andrews.

The future Hall of Fame inductee will call “America’s Game of the Week” with those two, as well as four playoff games (one in each round). FOX will broadcast Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Eli Manning Takes Brutal Shot At Tom Brady As He Offers Excuse For Missing Netflix Roast

While his name came up several times, especially when Will Ferrell’s iconic Ron Burgundy character took the stage, Eli was not present.

The three-hour event saw former teammates, coaches, and rivals take shots at Brady, even ripping him over his failed marriage. Fans would have probably loved to hear from Eli Manning.

He’s since tweeted that he’s tired of roasting Brady, having already done it twice.

“I thought about attending the Roast of Tom Brady last night, but I did not want to Roast him for a 3rd time!!” he quipped online.

The tweet had been viewed 1.6 million times and was closing in on 60,000 likes at the time of writing.

“Put this tweet in the Twitter/X Hall of Fame,” a user commented.

Eli Manning Was A Thorn In Tom Brady’s Side

Tom Brady won seven Super Bowls over the course of his career, but he came out on the losing end on three occasions. Two of those three Super Bowl losses were to Eli Manning and the New York Giants.

Brady is still not over any of his losses.

“I’m not over any of the Super Bowl losses,” he said on his Let’s Go podcast earlier this year. “I am still mad. Sixteen years later, in ’07. I’m still mad, the 2011 Super Bowl, I’m still mad we lost to the [Philadelphia] Eagles.”
