Travis Kelce made headlines with his extravagant expenditure on a private suite for the 2024 Super Bowl. The hefty price tag for the exclusive box seats came to light during a conversation with San Francisco 49ers’ George Kittle on Netflix’s “Receiver” series, which premiered on Wednesday.

Kelce revealed the staggering cost of the suite, stating, “They’re f-king three million dollars.” The steep price was enough to dissuade Kittle from making a similar purchase. “It’s just like, ‘You guys are gonna be fine,'” Kittle commented regarding his own family’s accommodations.

In the lead-up to the Super Bowl, Kelce humorously mentioned on his “New Heights” podcast that he was closely monitoring his expenses for the event. “I’m counting how much money I’m spending on this damn Super Bowl for family and friends to come,” he said, emphasizing his effort to manage the substantial financial outlay.

TMZ confirmed that the 34-year-old Kelce was footing the bill for the suite at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. The decision to secure the suite came after his mother, Donna Kelce, hinted on the “Today” show that she might end up sitting in the stands due to the high costs. “Well, you can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollars, so I have a feeling I’m not in a box,” she said. “As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everyone else because it is a pricey Super Bowl.”

Despite the financial burden, Kelce‘s suite was filled with star power. Taylor Swift and Donna Kelce were joined by a host of celebrities, including Kelce’s brother, Jason Kelce, actress Blake Lively, rapper Ice Spice, Keleigh Teller (wife of actor Miles Teller), model Cara Delevingne, and Brittany Mahomes, wife of Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

Interestingly, not all NFL players faced such high costs for their Super Bowl suites. According to Kelce and Kittle, Christian McCaffrey managed to secure a “nice deal” on a suite for his now-wife Olivia Culpo and their family.
