Tom Brady is still recovering from the shock waves that his Netflix roast left behind. There seemed to be no better way to escape all the tension it caused among his family and his old Patriots team than with a sun-splashed Memorial Day

Weekend vacation. That is, until he hit some unexpected challenges and ended up as the joke again.

The former New England quarterback posted this video of himself enjoying the tropical vacation, but it did not come without a couple of stumbles.

Brady took turns riding behind the boat with his children: Jack, 16; Benjamin, 14; and Vivian, 11. However, when it was his turn to wakeboard on the crystal blue seas, the 7-time Super Bowl winner proved that he’s not good at everything and took a couple hilarious tumbles.

“nothing like a “sorry I did that roast” trip to the bahamas to get summer started with the kiddos!” one follower joked in the Instagram comments.

Indeed, Brady previously revealed that he had some regrets about doing the roast, stating that he did not understand how some of the jokes would hit so close to home.

“I liked when the jokes were about me. I thought they were so fun,” Brady said. “I didn’t like the way they affected my kids.”

But after pocketing millions from the streaming giant to help bankroll his grandiose yacht and Memorial Day Weekend fun, the kids might be a little more willing to forgive him. Especially after he gave them a chance to laugh at him.

At roasts, nothing is off-limits. And Tom Brady wasn’t going to get away with dumping his former girlfriend, who was pregnant at the time with his child.

During his Sunday night Netflix roast, the seven-time Super Bowl winner quarterback took a number of shots at him for breaking up with Bridget Moynahan in 2006 while she was pregnant.

Nikki Glaser, a comedian, launched the first joke.

“But seriously, Tom, you’re the best to ever play for too long. You retired, then you came back and then you retired again, I get it, it’s hard to walk away from something that’s not your pregnant girlfriend it’s tough,” Glaser, a standup comedian and reality TV host, said.

“Hey, to be fair, he didn’t know she was pregnant, he just thought she was getting fat.”

Bridget Moynahan, Tom Brady’s ex-girlfriend, had something to say about that.

The day after the seven-time Super Bowl champion’s Netflix special, The Greatest Roast of All Time: Tom Brady, made her past relationship with him viral, the Blue Bloods actress wrote an Instagram message about devotion.

Moynahan shared a photo of a black and white quote that read, “Loyal people take s— more personal because they never would’ve did that s— to you.” She also captioned the post with a simple statement, “So true.”

Moynahan and Tom Brady started dating in 2004 and were together until December 2006. A few months later, Moynahan revealed she was expecting Brady’s baby. Brady, however, had started seeing Gisele Bundchen, his ex-wife and former supermodel.

In August of 2007, Moynahan gave birth to their son, Jack. The ex-couple has seemed to keep up a cordial connection for their child in the years following their split. In 2021, she went so far as to publicly applaud the 43-year-old quarterback on social media after his Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Kansas City Chiefs 31-9 in the Super Bowl.

After Brady and Bundchen split in October 2022, Brady took a few months before dating someone else.

The former quarterback and Irina Shayk reportedly started dating in the summer of 2023, but nothing has ever truly been confirmed despite them being seen out together, according to Harper Bazaar‘s relationship timeline.

Brady has also been rumored to be in a relationship with Kim Kardashian, but both of them have denied it during the most recent Netflix roast.
