Surprise AFC Team Lands Chargers SUPERSTAR Joey Bosa In Blockbuster Trade Proposal That Would Make Them IMMEDIATE Super Bowl CONTENDERS-O

A massive trade proposal has a top AFC team bolstering their already dangerous defense by acquiring Los Angeles Chargers superstar edge rusher Joey Bosa.

Heading into the 2024 offseason, many wondered if the Chargers would cut or trade Joey Bosa. But along with fellow pass-rushing stalwart Khalil Mack, Bosa agreed to a restructured deal to remain with the Bolts.

The 2016 first-round pick has two years remaining on his deal before he can enter free agency in 2026. But if the right offer comes along for new GM Joe Hortiz and head coach Jim Harbaugh, the Chargers would be wise to trade Bosa now for future assets.

Bleacher Report’s Gary Davenport proposed a blockbuster trade idea that has Los Angeles trading Joey Bosa to the defending AFC East champion Buffalo Bills in exchange for a 2025 third-round pick:

“Much has been made of the team’s situation at wide receiver after the departure of Stefon Diggs and Gabe Davis. But the Bills have a potential weakness on defense as well. Only one player for Buffalo eclipsed 10 sacks last season—edge-rusher Leonard Floyd, who is now in San Francisco. Buffalo’s projected starters on the edge (Gregory Rousseau and A.J. Epenesa) combined for just 11.5 sacks a year ago…

Getting Bosa’s contract on the books would take some wrangling, but Brandon Beane is as crafty a GM as there is in the NFL. It’s a risky play—but one that could pay off big if the Bills get the Bosa who made three straight Pro Bowls from 2019-2021.”

The Bills have consistently churned out a top-10 defense under Sean McDermott, but the lack of pass-rushing depth is a key reason why they haven’t solved Patrick Mahomes or Joe Burrow in the postseason.

Enter a four-time Pro Bowler in Joey Bosa, who has 67 career sacks and 15 forced fumbles in 93 games. This includes four seasons of double-digit sacks, highlighted by a personal-best 12.5 in 2017.

Joey Bosa Makes Perfect Sense For Bills

Injuries have limited him to 14 games over the past two seasons, so there is some risk in trading for Bosa. But if the Bills want to widen their championship window, GM Brandon Beane has to consider making a risky move or two. And trading for Bosa could very well be the type of move that gets this team over the hump once and for all.

RUMOR: New York Giants Could Target Superstar QB To Replace Daniel Jones

Without a doubt, 2024 is a make-or-break year for New York Giants quarterback Daniel Jones, whose career has been awfully underwhelming up to this point.

After putting together his best season in 2022, Daniel Jones was awarded a four-year contract extension worth $160 million. The first year of the new deal was a disaster, as Jones lost five of six starts and had two touchdowns vs. six interceptions before suffering a season-ending ACL tear in a game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

The good news for the Giants is that Jones’ deal is structured where they can cut him loose next year with minimal financial ramifications. So it’s going to take a heckuva season from Jones to buy himself another year (or two) in the Meadowlands beyond 2024.

Maurice Moton of Bleacher Report listed five teams who should be “all in” on Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott if he hits free agency next year. The 30-year-old is entering the final season of a $160 million extension he signed in 2021.

Moton made a compelling case for the Giants to replace Daniel Jones with the quarterback from an archrival team:

“If Jones struggles to move the ball through the air with rookie wideout Malik Nabers, who’s already turning heads at practice, the club must find a quarterback who can elevate the offense.

The Giants know what Dak Prescott can do on the field. He typically plays well against them, and the Dallas Cowboys have a 12-2 record against New York with him as a starter. Saquon Barkley left New York for a division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles. Prescott can do the same, signing with Big Blue to stick it to the Cowboys.”

If Dak Prescott hits free agency, he’ll certainly receive a deal worth $200 million-plus, seeing how a 36-year-old Kirk Cousins got $180 million from the Atlanta Falcons while recovering from a season-ending Achilles tear.

Daniel Jones Has One Last Chance

The 27-year-old Jones has a 22-36-1 record with a 64.3 completion percentage, 12,512 passing yards and 62 touchdowns against 40 interceptions to go along with 1,914 rushing yards and 13 rushing scores.

New York drafted a can’t-miss wide receiver prospect in LSU product Malik Nabers with the No. 6 pick, giving Jones a true game-changing playmaker in the passing game. If Jones isn’t able to get back to his 2022-like form, the Giants will have an easy call to cut ties with him.
