Stefon Diggs just wanted to get some pilates action going, but the machine he was working on had other ideas.

This week, the Houston Texans wide receiver was trying to get his body ready for what might be his only season with his new team when he stepped into a Pilates machine for a workout.

The grueling workout involved using your arms to stretch out two bands while on your knees. The machine also works your abs, arms, back, core, obliques, shoulders, and triceps.

At one point during the workout, Stefon Diggs was moving his arms in what looked like a circular motion when things went terribly wrong.

His left knee slipped off the pad below, and he fell towards the machine as he appeared to avoid serious injury when he fell off to the side.

If Stefon Diggs had been injured, this video likely never would’ve been put out, so you know he was just fine.

Back in April, the Buffalo Bills traded four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans for draft pick compensation.

In return, the Bills received a 2025 second-round pick (via the Minnesota Vikings) in exchange for Diggs, a 2024 sixth-round pick (No. 189 overall), and a 2025 fifth-round selection, per ESPN.

His trade came less than 24 hours after Diggs responded “You sure?” to a social media user’s declaration that he wasn’t essential to the growth and success of Josh Allen.

This was the latest win-now move for the Houston Texans, who have been surrounding quarterback C.J. Stroud with veteran talent this offseason after his surprising rookie campaign that led to an AFC South title and Wild Card victory.

Bills GM Brandon Beane Explains Why Team Ate Money To Trade Stefon Diggs

The Buffalo Bills wanted to get rid of Stefon Diggs so badly that they ate more than $31 million to trade the star wide receiver.

General manager Brandon Beane explained the reason, telling “The Athletic Football Show” that Buffalo preferred to get “that albatross” of Diggs’ contract off the books sooner rather than later.

“I mean, listen, there’s a lot of things I think you weigh,” Beane said. “A player of his caliber, you weigh a lot of things. But ultimately, we just talked about the (salary) cap. … I don’t need to go through all the reasons why we decided to go ahead and do that. I would say, from a cap standpoint, we decided just to go ahead and eat it out now. We think we can compete and do what we need to do by eating it now. Because if we didn’t, if we tried to come up with some way to split it up too many different ways, it’s just like that albatross hanging on your neck all year. … What’s ’25 look like? What’s ’26?”

Texans WR Stefon Diggs Makes Shocking Accusation Towards The Minnesota Vikings & Their Intentions When Trading Him To Buffalo

New Houston Texans star wide receiver suggested that the Minnesota Vikings did him dirty four years ago.

After five seasons in Minnesota, Stefon Diggs was traded to the Buffalo Bills in a 2020 offseason blockbuster trade. Minny received four draft picks in return, including the No. 22 pick that was used on future superstar wideout Justin Jefferson.

Following reports about Diggs’ relationship souring in the Buffalo organization, he was traded to Houston (along with two late-round picks) in exchange for a 2025 second-round pick.

Reflecting on the first trade of his career, the 30-year-old Stefon Diggs told Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer that he felt as though the Vikings traded him to the AFC East club without the best intentions:

“Because at that point when I left Minnesota, I was a good player, but I [wanted] more for myself, I felt like I was better than that, that I could be better than that. And up to a point I was like, Shoot, I’m gonna bet on myself. And they sent me to Buffalo. I don’t know if they sent me to Buffalo with the kindest intent, but all’s well that ends well. When I got to Buffalo, Josh was my guy. People really understand what it’s like to be out there. He really embraced me, kind of had that Southern hospitality.”

Diggs took his game to another level after joining the Bills in 2020. He exceeded 100 catches and 1,100 yards receiving in each of his four years there, leading the NFL in both receptions (127) and receiving yards (1,535) in 2020.

Buffalo won four straight AFC East division crowns with Stefon Diggs, but they only reached the AFC Championship Game once. After a third straight loss in the Divisional Round, the Bills began a massive roster retool highlighted by the Diggs trade.

Over his four seasons with the Bills, Diggs racked up 445 receptions for 5,372 yards and 37 touchdowns.

Stefon Diggs Faces Both His Former Teams This Season

Diggs will have the chance at oh-so-sweet revenge against both the Minnesota Vikings and Buffalo Bills this season.

The four-time Pro Bowler will make his return to Minnesota as an opponent for the first time in Week 3, when the Texans visit the Vikings on Sept. 3. Then two weeks later, the Texans will welcome Josh Allen’s Bills in a Week 5 afternoon contest.

Diggs will make his Texans debut on Sept. 8, when they travel to Indianapolis to take on the archrival Indianapolis Colts.
