Fans had difficulty processing Vita Vea’s full name after finding out what it was.
Vita, a Super Bowl winner with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2021, has a pretty long name, which explains why he just goes by Vita Vea.
The defensive tackle’s government name is Tevita Tuliʻakiʻono Tuipulotu Mosese Vaʻhae Fehoko Faletau Vea. No, we didn’t bother trying to pronounce it.
While a quick Google search would take you to his Wikipedia page, where you would see his full name, most people probably assumed it was Vita Vea. The MLFootball account on X/Twitter pointed it out on Wednesday, and fans couldn’t handle it.
“This a joke right please say yes,” one commented.

Vita Vea Looks Like A Different Beast Ahead Of The 2024 NFL Season
Vea reported to the Buccaneers’ minicamp this week, looking like a different man. The team’s defensive line coach, Kacy Rodgers, claimed back in April that the player “looks a lot different” after catching up with him during the offseason.
Head coach Todd Bowles noticed the difference after the 2021 Pro Bowler reported in on Tuesday.
“He’s quick,” Bowles told the Bucs’ official website. “He looks good. He’s in shape, he’s flying around. He’s a little faster than he was last year – hopefully that continues. We look forward to him having a great training camp.”
Vea opted to join former teammate Ndamukong Suh for an offseason regimen instead of attending the team’s voluntary workouts last month.
Suh, who hasn’t missed a single game through injury in 13 seasons, invited Vea to train with him this offseason. It appears it’s paid off, although the nose tackle wouldn’t reveal exactly how much weight he lost.
“Yeah, I was out there in sunny Portland, just grinding away,” he said. “[There was] a lot of early morning stuff, but we got it together. He took me under his wing and just took care of me out there.”
Bruce Arians Had Hilarious Reaction To Vita Vea Losing His Tooth During Game (VIDEO)
Bruce Arians couldn’t careless about Vita Vea losing his tooth.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive tackle was bloodied while fighting in the trenches during the second quarter of his team’s battle with the Indianapolis Colts. Vea’s helmet became dislodged while rushing the passer. And his bare chin would then meet the helmet of Colts offensive guard Mark Glowinski — which sent one of his pearly whites flying.
TV cameras picked up images of him smiling as he made his way over to the sideline after losing his tooth.
After the game, head coach Bruce Arians wasn’t sympathetic about him losing a tooth at all.

I’m pretty sure Vea’s dentist won’t agree with Bruce Arians’ evaluation of his star defensive lineman’s oral injury. Hopefully someone picked that tooth up off the floor and put it in some milk. Vea’s going to want to fix that ASAP, as he and the Bucs will have plenty of smiling to do after securing a thrilling 38-31 victory over the Colts.
