Patrick Mahomes during Kansas City Chiefs OTAs this summer.

Patrick Mahomes has already established himself as a legendary NFL player. It seems crazy to say that about a 28-year-old, but the quarterback has completely revolutionized the Kansas City Chiefs franchise and won it all within his first few seasons in the league.

He could retire right now and would likely be a first ballot Hall of Famer due to his incredible resume, which is filled with personal and team trophies. Is it possible for him to continue dominating like he has? By the looks of it, he won’t be lacking for motivation.

Despite winning the last two Super Bowls and making it to The Big Game in four of the past five years, Mahomes appears as motivated as ever to keep winning. It’s that kind of drive that makes him an ultra competitor, and it’s why – along with his immense talent – he’s been so successful.

Training camp will run from July 21 until the Chiefs’ first preseason game on August 10, when they take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville. The other two preseason games will be against the Detroit Lions and Chicago Bears, both at home. The regular season opener will take place on September 5 against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.
