Patrick Mahomes and Andy Reid

Patrick Mahomes starred in the Netflix docuseries ‘Quarterback’, which detailed his life on and off the field during the 2022/23 season.

The NFL star has admitted that filming posed challenges, particularly obtaining permission from head coach Andy Reid.

“They gave me a lot of freedom on who came to film me, what they filmed,” Mahomes told ‘Riggle’s Picks’.

“The hardest part was getting coach Reid to let them in the building and let them film some of that stuff that we do there.

“But he was he was great about it. He actually interviewed and did parts of it too. So it was cool to have him and seeing his perspective.”

Beefing up the team in pursuit of a third straight title

With the opportunity to make history by winning three consecutive Super Bowl titles, Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs are in a unique position.

The team retains key players such as tight end Travis Kelce, running back Isiah Pacheco, and one of the league’s best offensive lines.

New additions include wide receivers Marquise Brown and Xavier Worthy, as well as former rugby winger Louis Rees-Zammit.

On the defensive side, the Chiefs have lost linebacker Willie Gay and defensive backs L’Jarius Sneed and Mike Edwards.

However, they still boast a strong lineup with Chris Jones leading the front seven, supported by George Karlaftis and Nick Bolton, while Trent McDuffie and Justin Reid take on crucial roles in the backfield.
