Dak Prescott has led the Dallas Cowboys to the playoffs in five seasons throughout his career, where he currently sits with a 2-5 record. The Pro Bowl signal-caller has been labeled a playoff choke artist.

Prescott knows how to win regular-season games, and that is enough for some places to invite the Dallas Cowboys leader to meetings. His attendance at this year’s Tight End University had fans talking, or rather, what he chose to wear did.

It is never a good look when the Dallas Cowboys quarterback shows up to an event wearing a team jersey that is from anywhere but Dallas while he is in the middle of long-term contract negotiations; however, that is precisely what Dak has done.

Ari Meirov uploaded a picture of the quarterback to X, and his choice of jersey has lots of NFL fans speculating that he may be heading to a separate NFC team where he could have a decent shot at starting. Dallas fans are shaking in their seats.

NFL Fans Think Dak Prescott Will Be Changing Teams Next Season

One NFL fan seems convinced there is no hope that we will see Prescott back in the Big D next year. He commented that it has been confirmed: ” He’s a Giant next year,” while another fan added that he “wants to be a Giant so bad.”

But it wasn’t just these fans who believed Prescott would be in New York next season. Another fan commented, “He is such a Giant,” another fan added a photoshopped photo of the current Cowboys star wearing a Giants uniform.

While nothing has been confirmed, fans continue to speculate on Dak’s future. As it stands, he will remain in Dallas for 2024 after he threw for over 4,500 yards and 23 touchdowns compared to just 15 interceptions.

RUMOR: 5 Surprise NFL Teams Named As Possible Landing Spots For Cowboys QB Dak Prescott In 2025 Free Agency

Five interesting NFL teams have been mentioned as potential landing spots for Dallas Cowboys Pro Bowl quarterback Dak Prescott in 2025 free agency.

The soon-to-be 31-year-old Dak Prescott is entering the final season of a four-year, $160 million pact he signed in the 2021 offseason. Surprisingly, owner Jerry Jones has yet to extend Prescott, wide receiver CeeDee Lamb (in the final year of his rookie deal) and linebacker Micah Parsons (now eligible for an extension).

The lack of a new deal for Prescott ahead of training camp has some fans wondering if Prescott may end up leaving in free agency next year. If Dallas won’t pay Dak, someone will surely give him a deal worth more than the $180 million that Kirk Cousins just landed with the Atlanta Falcons in March.

Bleacher Report’s Maurice Moton listed five teams that should pursue Dak Prescott if he hits free agency in 2025: The Las Vegas Raiders, New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Seattle Seahawks and Tennessee Titans.

The Raiders are rolling with Aidan O’Connell and free agent pickup Gardner Minshew II as their QB tandem for 2024. The Giants can get out of Daniel Jones’ $160 million contract next year with minimal financial ramifications.

Pittsburgh landed both Russell Wilson and Justin Fields, who can both enter free agency next year. The Seahawks can cut starter Geno Smith next year and save plenty of cap space that would open up room to sign Dak Prescott.

Tennessee is going with 2023 second-round pick Will Levis as their starter this year. But if he doesn’t impress under first-year head coach Brian Callahan, Tennessee could very well be in the market for a big-named QB like Prescott next year.

Dak Prescott & Cowboys Open Season vs. Browns

The Cowboys will begin their 2024 season with a can’t-miss road contest against Myles Garrett and the Cleveland Browns in Week 1. That will also be the first game in the broadcast booth for Tom Brady, who begins a 10-year deal with FOX.
