The Kansas City Chiefs, fresh off a second straight Super Bowl championship, will aim to become the first team to complete the three-peat.On the latest edition of the “NFL on FOX Podcast”, Helman shared his early predictions for the 2024-25 postseason. Helman predicted that Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs’ will indeed pull off the three-peat by defeating Jordan Love’s Green Bay Packers in the big dance:

And as you would have expected, Helman’s prediction led to a plethora of interesting responses from fans on X/Twitter:

The Packers were one of the top surprises of the 2023 season, claiming the NFC’s final wild card spot with a 9-8 record in year one of the post-Aaron Rodgers era. After crushing the Dallas Cowboys in the opening round, Green Bay gave the top-seeded San Francisco 49ers a scare but fell 24-21 in the Divisional Round.

With Love asserting himself as the new franchise star QB in Titletown, the Packers should definitely be in the mix for a Super Bowl 59 championship in 2024.

The Super Bowl 59 Field Is Wide Open

The Chiefs are obviously the team to beat entering 2024, but the field is loaded with contenders who have a realistic shot at winning Super Bowl 59 in New Orleans.

In the NFC, the San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and Philadelphia Eagles are all bonafide contenders. If Love builds off a career year, the Packers should also contend for the Lombardi Trophy.

It’s even more hectic in the AFC, where the Chiefs, Cincinnati Bengals, Baltimore Ravens, Cleveland Browns, Houston Texans, Buffalo Bills, Miami Dolphins and New York Jets all have legitimate shots of winning it all.

BREAKING: Cost Of A 30-Second Commercial In Upcoming Super Bowl 59 Revealed, And It’ll Absolutely Blow Your Mind

Kansas City Chiefs (Photo by Michael Reaves/Getty Images)FOX has reportedly set a massive asking price for companies that want to air a 30-second commercial for Super Bowl 59 next year.Super Bowl 59 will be held at the New Orleans Saints’ home stadium, the Caesars Superdome, on Feb. 9 next year. FOX will air the big game, presumably with top play-by-play voice Kevin Burkhardt, sideline reporter Erin Andrews and Tom Brady, who’s expected to begin his analyst role with the network this fall.

According to a report from Brian Steinberg of Variety, FOX is eyeing a whopping $7 million for a 30-second commercial next year. This is about the same cost for a 30-second ad for Super Bowl 58 back in February:

“Fox Corp’s 2025 broadcast of Super Bowl LIX is nearly a year away, slated to air Feb. 9 from New Orleans. During early talks with potential advertisers, however, the company is already making a bid to sell 30-second ads for at least $7 million each, according to three people familiar with the matter. The price could mark a slightly higher starting point in negotiations than that established by Paramount Global, which aired Super Bowl LVIII in February to a record audience and initially sought between $6.5 million and $7 million for a half-minute ad berth.”

Super Bowl 58 between the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers aired on CBS, with Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, Tracy Wolfson and Evan Washburn calling the game. Burkhardt, Andrews and Greg Olsen called Super Bowl 57 between the Kansas City Chiefs and Philadelphia Eagles one year earlier.

This will be the eighth big game contest played in the legendary Caesars Superdome, and the fourth alone in the 21st century. The old Tulane Stadium in New Orleans hosted three SB games in the ’70s.

Kansas City Chiefs Aim To Make Super Bowl History

The Chiefs defeated the 49ers in Super Bowl 58 to become the first club to win back-to-back NFL championships since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots. Up next, they’ll try to become the first club to complete the SB three-peat.

As well, Kansas City will try to become the first team in the “big four” North American professional sports leagues (NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL) to win three straight titles since the Los Angeles Lakers won three in a row from 2000 to ’02.

The Chiefs have gone to four big games in Patrick Mahomes’ first six seasons as the starter, reaching the AFC title game every single year.
