NFL fans aren’t happy after a heads-up analyst pointed out an issue that will arise for the millions of fantasy football players in their league championships. Most fantasy football leagues wrap up in Week 17 (previously in Week 16 before the expanded

schedule) since many star players are rested for the regular season finale. But with the league announcing two games for Christmas this year (it falls on a Wednesday), NFL fans who reach the finals in their fantasy football leagues will need to prepare

themselves for a considerable inconvenience.Pro Football Focus fantasy football analyst Nathan Jahnke noted that Week 17 will begin on a Wednesday because of the Christmas Day games. That means instead of waiting until Thursday, fantasy football players will have to make their start/sit calls by 1 p.m. EST on Christmas Day:

Unsurprisingly, NFL fans weren’t happy to learn about this looming dilemma:

The first Christmas Day 2024 game will see the Kansas City Chiefs visiting old friend Russell Wilson and his Pittsburgh Steelers. After that, NFL fans will be treated to a clash between the Baltimore Ravens and Houston Texans, a rematch of the 2023 AFC Divisional Round.

NFL Fans Will Get Football On Six Days Of The Week

NFL regular season campaigns traditionally have games on Sundays, Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. But this year, the league will feature games on every day of the week except Tuesday.

The two Christmas Day games will be played on Wednesdays. For the second straight year, there is also a Black Friday game, in which the Chiefs will play host to the AFC West rival Las Vegas Raiders.

Incredibly, the Chiefs are actually scheduled to play on six of the seven days of the week. They have a Thursday nighter against the Ravens to open the season (Sept. 5), two Monday night contests (vs. the New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Oct. 7 and Nov. 4, respectively) and a Saturday game against Houston on Dec. 21.

NFL Denies Wild Rumors Of Scheduling Conspiracy Theory That’s Linked To Taylor Swift And The Kansas City Chiefs

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift (via Getty Images)Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have been going out since September of 2023; obviously, since then, they’ve been the media’s couple. It’s easy to say so when you have the world’s biggest popstar and arguably the sport’s best tight end being seen together over and over in public in a romantic way. Now, we have to ask: Why wouldn’t the NFL want to capitalize on quite possibly the most popular relationship on the planet right now? The league can clearly make millions off Swift alone, and some fans thought that was the case with the Chiefs’ Week 11 match-up in Buffalo.

The Chiefs are slated to take on the Josh Allen-led Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium during Week 11 of this upcoming season, and many seem to think that it was scheduled so that Swift could attend after her show in Toronto on Saturday night.

While it would be a fantastic business idea for the league, NFL representatives have recently denied these claims. According to Jori Epstein of Yahoo Sports, the league did not consider Taylor’s Eras tour when creating the Chiefs schedule.

Will Taylor Swift Attend The Chiefs Week 11 Game Against The Bills?

Obviously, the league considered some parts of the pop mega-stars tour when planning. They had to ensure that specific venues were available, as Swift is currently selling out stadiums, some of which host NFL games.

It should be noted that fans’ speculation is all based on the assumption that the couple will remain together until the November 17th match-up, which will surely be a fireworks show.

It should be noted that Swift and Kelce have been rumored to be getting engaged soon after some recent photos of Kelce slightly changing up his looks surfaced on the internet. Some fans speculate about the engagement, while others believe it may be marriage. However, only time will tell what the future holds for the back-to-back Super Bowl champ and Grammy-winning superstar!
