Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker and his wife, Isabelle,

Harrison Butker and his wife, Isabelle Butker, shared a rare red-carpet moment on Thursday, attending the Kansas City Chiefs Super Bowl ring ceremony at the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art.

This appearance comes one month after Harrison’s controversial commencement speech went viral, in which he made a number of comments that were deemed offensive to women.

Harrison Butker reaffirms: “Zero Regrets” on recent comments despite controversy

However, many have spoken up in defense of the Kansas City kicker, including his wife, and she showed her support for him by accompanying him on the red carpet on Thursday.

The NFL player, 28, looked sharp in a gray suit with cream detailing, paired with a white dress shirt and a black bow tie.

He proudly wore his championship rings from the Chiefs’ 2020 and 2023 Super Bowl victories.

Isabelle stunned in a green long-sleeve wrap dress, silver heels, and dangling earrings, with her dark hair styled in loose curls.

Why has Harrison Butker been under the microscope?

High school sweethearts Harrison and Isabelle have been married since February 2018 and share two children, son James and a daughter whose name has not been revealed.

Harrison referenced their family during his commencement speech at Benedictine College in May, which sparked controversy due to its perceived sexist and anti-LGBTQ+ remarks.

“My beautiful wife, Isabelle, would be the first to say her life truly started when she started living her vocation as a wife and as a mother,” Harrison stated.

“Some of you may go on to lead successful careers in the world, but I would venture to guess that the majority of you are most excited about your marriage and the children you will bring into this world.”

Despite backlash, Harrison defended his speech at a “Courage Under Fire” event in Nashville later that month, asserting that he did not regret his statements.

“If it wasn’t clear that the timeless Catholic values are hated by many, it is now,” he concluded.
