Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown was up to his old tricks on Friday, making another controversial remark presumably for attention.

Antonio Brown is no stranger to making crude comments on his X/Twitter account. Earlier this week, he received immense backlash for stating that Phoenix Mercury star and WNBA legend Brittney Griner is a man in response to a post that she’s expecting her first child with wife Cherelle.

The former Pro Bowler was at it again on Thursday evening. Responding to an article about how the WNBA is projected to lose $50 million this year, Brown stated “Nobody actually watches it” and that it’s not a pro sport. Brown also called it “a charity for lesbians”:

Antonio Brown obviously didn’t do his homework on the ratings and attendance figures. On Monday, the WNBA announced that the month of May marked the “highest attended opening month in 26 years and its most-watched start of season across each network ever.”

In the press release, the league announced that WNBA arenas have been filled up by 17 percent this year (94 percent, to be exact). On ESPN, ESPN2, ABC, WNBA and CBS, the league is enjoying an average of 1.32 million viewers per game.

Meanwhile, you can expect more outrageous tweets from Brown as he tries to continue stirring the pot on social media. With his NFL career over, there obviously isn’t much more he wants to do in his spare time.

Antonio Brown’s Behavior Overshadows His NFL Career

Since his departure from the Pittsburgh Steelers five years ago, the former All-Pro wide receiver has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons. Brown’s behavior and legal issues prompted four different teams (the Steelers, Oakland Raiders, New England Patriots and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) to cut ties with him in a span of three years.

Brown may have the resume of a Hall of Famer, but it’s hard to envision him getting in considering all of the disturbing legal issues that have overshadowed his playing career. Those issues include numerous arrests for failed child support payments and bankruptcy, which he officially filed for last month.

Antonio Brown Gets Brutal Reminder Of His Ugly Past After Trolling Diddy On Social Media

Antonio Brown became the newest celebrity to weigh in on the Diddy situation when he shared a crude joke about it.

Following the discovery of a 2016 video last week that purportedly showed the Bad Boy CEO abusing his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura in a hotel, Sean “Diddy” Combs issued an apology.

Combs can be seen in the CNN-obtained footage pushing Ventura to the ground next to an elevator bank. He then kicks her repeatedly while she’s on the ground, before dragging her down a hallway.

Antonio Brown, who has become known for his constant trolling in any situation, decided to share the infamous video of Cuba Gooding, Jr. being taken away in handcuffs, but with his and Diddy’s heads superimposed onto the bodies.

The former NFL wide receiver may have found it to be funny, but the people in his comments made sure Antonio Brown knew he was the last one to speak about domestic violence, given his sketchy past.

Though not for the reasons he would ever want, Diddy is the talk of the town at the moment. The FBI raided two of Diddy’s houses in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year, shocking the rap community. Since then, paparazzi have been closely monitoring both of his properties, putting him under constant surveillance. He has taken actions following the raids, including selling all of his interests in Revolt TV, the network he co-founded in 2013.

An arrest warrant was once issued for former Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown for misdemeanor battery domestic violence.

At the time, Brown was accused in the police complaint of hitting a woman in the ponytail after hurling a shoe at her. Brown is also claimed to have thrown the woman’s stuff out of the residence before the cops arrived.

Those charges would soon be dropped, per Yahoo.com.
