The upcoming “Full Court Press” series on ESPN+ will track basketball players like Caitlin Clark as they navigate a historic season for women’s basketball.

We’ve just seen the first teaser for a new documentary that delves deeply into the collegiate seasons of Kiki Rice, Kamilla Cardoso, and Clark, and it will premiere on ABC and ESPN+ this weekend.

In one video, Clark was seen by the cameras following Iowa’s heartbreaking defeat at Nebraska in February. She responded to the loss in a way that was not typical of her.

“Bullsh-t. That team is not f-cking better than us,” Clark said after the loss, via ESPN. “Are you f-cking kidding me?

“Are you f-cking kidding me?”

In that game, Nebraska not only upset the Iowa Hawkeyes at home but also held Clark scoreless in the 4th quarter.

Clark would get her revenge the following month as the Iowa women’s basketball star and the Hawkeyes fought off Nebraska to win their third consecutive Big Ten championship. She finished with 34 points, via ESPN.com.

NFL Hall of Fame quarterback Peyton Manning’s Omaha Productions and Words & Pictures, in collaboration with ESPN+, are producing the series. Prior to the 2023–24 season, Manning had a conversation with Caitlin Clark in the summer about being featured.

Clark was there at the series premiere on Monday at the Tobias Theater in Indianapolis. Several of her Hawkeye coaches, including head coach Lisa Bluder, all of her new teammates on the Indiana Fever, Manning, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb, and head coach Dawn Staley of South Carolina, were present.

The Indiana Fever defeated the Atlanta Dream 83-80 on Thursday night to close out their preseason schedule.

That means that with the Fever scheduled to play the Connecticut Sun on May 14, Caitlin Clark’s WNBA regular season debut is now only a few days away. On May 14, Clark and the Fever take on the Connecticut Sun to start the regular season. The game will tip off at 7:30 p.m. ET.
