Plenty of time for a quick Brazil-to-Philly-to-Brazil whirlwind trip.

But on Friday night, 23-year-old Ana Clara Benevides Machado died after collapsing at Swift’s show at Estádio Olímpico Nilton Santos, an open-air stadium that reached temperatures over 102.4 degrees Fahrenheit that day. As the record-breaking heat wave continued, Swift canceled her Saturday concert for “the safety and well being of my fans, fellow performers, and crew,” Swift said via Instagram.

Time For Fun, one of the organizers of Swift’s Rio shows, announced on X (formerly Twitter) that Swift’s show would instead be held on Monday, making Swift’s presence at GEHA Field at Arrowhead Stadium impossible.

Even with Swift on another continent, there are still plenty of reasons the November 20 installment of Monday Night Football remains notable. First is the brother-against-brother narrative of the game: Donna and Ed Kelce’s son, Travis, is a tight end for the Chiefs, while their other son, Jason, is a center for the Eagles.
