While most of the questions were respectful, one fan took things too far, calling her a gold digger. But Brittany didn’t let the insult slide, firing back with a response that shut down the troll’s baseless accusations.

Brittany Mahomes continues to champion women’s sports

For starters, Brittany was a standout soccer player during her college years at the University of Texas at Tyler. She even played professionally in Iceland, where she was signed by UMF Afturelding/Fram. But rather than pursue her own athletic career, she chose to support her husband’s dreams and start a family.

But Brittany hasn’t given up on sports entirely. In fact, she’s now a stakeholder in the Kansas City Current women’s soccer team, which she helped found. And it was her passion for soccer that ultimately convinced Patrick to join the ownership team.
