Caitlin Clark put on an unreal show during her first WNBA preseason game following the Indiana Fever picking her No. 1 overall last month.

Clark suited up for a game for the team for the first time on Friday night and scored a team-high 21 points, though it came in a loss to the Dallas Wings.

It probably wouldn’t have been hard to predict that her first shot would be a three-pointer, which turned out to be the case as she sank one from deep to open her account in the pros.

One of her most impressive plays of the night saw her floor an opponent before sinking a three from the top of the arc. Check it out right below:

Clark missed a potential game-tying three at the final buzzer, with the Fever losing 79-76, but the debut was a remarkable one.

Clark’s 21 points were the most by any player on either team, and she went into halftime with 16 points. She shot 6-of-15 from the field and 5-for-13 from three, hauling three rebounds, assisting two scores, and grabbing two steals.

The former Iowa star scored five points in her limited second-half minutes.

Caitlin Clark’s Thoughts On Her Debut

Caitlin Clark’s outstanding debut was replete with long-range shots, sensational dribbling, and other highlight-reel plays. Of course, it’s only a taste of what’s to come based on what we know of Clark from her college days.

Asked what she remembered most from her first professional game, she replied, “The atmosphere.”

“I remember my first game in college really well, too … this is a big milestone for me, I’ve always dreamed of playing in the WNBA,” She added, Per USA Today.

The Fever will play their next preseason game against the Atlanta Dream before beginning the regular season with a fixture against the Connecticut Sun.
