BRAD Pitt is reportedly upset that his daughter Shiloh has dropped his last name.

The film star was apparently “pained” to learn that Shiloh filed paperwork to change her name from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie on her 18th birthday last week.

“He’s aware and upset that Shiloh dropped his last name. He’s never felt more joy than when she was born. He always wanted a daughter,” a source told People.

“The reminders that he’s lost his children, is of course not easy for Brad. He loves his children and misses them. It’s very sad.

“He’s still happy with Ines [de Ramon],” the insider added, referring to Brad’s new girlfriend, but emphasized that the situation with his children “pains him.”

A second source divulged to the outlet, “He still loves all of his kids tremendously. This whole process has been very hard for the whole family.”

Alongside Shiloh, Brad, 60, shares sons Maddox, 22; Pax, 20; and Knox, 15, as well as daughters Zahara, 19, and Vivienne, 15, with his ex-wife Angelina Jolie, 49.

In 2016, however, Angelina filed for sole physical custody of their kids as part of their divorce, and Brad’s relationship with his family has reportedly been strained, with the actor feeling like he’s “lost his children.”

Shiloh isn’t the first of Brad’s children to drop his name, but is the first to take legal action.

NAME DROP

Shiloh filed paperwork to change her name from Jolie-Pitt to just Jolie last week, as soon as she turned 18.

While she’s the first of the couple’s children to request a legal name change, three of her siblings also seem to have dropped Brad’s last name in their day-to-day lives.

The couple’s oldest son, Maddox, uses the last name Jolie.

Their oldest daughter, Zahara, also dropped Brad’s last name when joining her sorority at Spelman College.

Meanwhile, Shiloh’s younger sister, Vivienne, went by just Jolie in her listing in the Playbill for The Outsiders on Broadway, which she helped her mom produce.

While the children seem to have quietly made their name changes, one former security guard of Brad and Angelina claimed that Angelina tried to turn her kids against their dad.

BROKEN FAMILY

In March, Brad dropped his pursuit of shared custody of his children and settled for visitation rights.

However, the couple is still embroiled in legal disputes from their marriage, including a years-long fight over a French vineyard.

The couple split in 2016 after 12 years together, with Angelina citing “irreconcilable differences” on the divorce papers.

In court papers following the split, Angelina’s team claimed that Brad attacked his wife and two children on a plane in 2016 while under the influence of alcohol.

The FBI and Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family cleared Brad of the accusations, but some of his family members have spoken out against him.

In a leaked private post from 2020, Brad’s son Pax called the actor a “world-class a***hole” and “despicable person.”

The Instagram post added that Brad made his kids “tremble in fear.”
