The NBA world now has the rare opportunity to see the team play of Anthony Davis and Stephen Curry on the court at the Paris 2024 Olympics. After spending a lot of time with Curry, Davis became a fan of the Golden State Warriors star.

In a short video, Davis conveyed his appreciation for Curry, mentioning his “phenomenal” athleticism.

I’ll tell you what, this guy named Steph Curry is phenomenal to play with. He was on my team today and I got so many open looks,” Davis said.

This year’s Team USA garnered more attention as the 12 best American players in the league are here. Team USA appears to be the leading contender for the gold medal in the upcoming Olympics.

It’s probably Curry’s last chance to win a gold for his nation. Hence, Curry is also much hyped for the chance, especially after having a fully star-studded roster.

12 amazing, talented guys coming together for one goal. I’m hyped for it all. It’s been 10 years since I’ve been on Team USA. I’m hype to be back,” Curry said.

What Position Will Stephen Curry Play for Team USA?

Stephen Curry, who gave Joel Embiid a new nickname, is ready to make a long-awaited return to Team USA after last playing for the national team in the 2014 FIBA World Cup. In that tournament, Curry played a crucial role in helping Team USA secure a gold medal. The Paris Olympic Games will be his Olympic debut.

One of Team USA’s impressive roster’s many strengths is its ability to create offense from multiple positions. After recognizing this, head coach Steve Kerr, along with his coaching staff—Mark Few, Tyronn Lue, and Erik Spoelstra—has appointed Curry as the starting point guard for the team in Paris.

Curry and Team USA will face their first challenge against Serbia on July 28. The Golden State Warriors star is eager to add an Olympic gold medal to his illustrious basketball career.
