LeBron James and Stephen Curry team up to play at the Paris Olympics for Team USA. Meanwhile, as Team USA arrived in Las Vegas for training camp, James and Curry’s excitement was on full display.

The duo shared a wholesome encounter while LeBron was spotted saying, “About time. About time. About time. About fu*king time.”

Stephen responded to the Los Angeles Lakers legend’s words with equal excitement, saying, “Let’s have some fun with it.”

Curry and James, who recently inked a two-year deal, have a long history, having faced each other in 52 NBA games. During these encounters, Curry held a 29-23 winning record over James.

This collaboration promises to bring thrilling energy to Team USA. Training camp kicks off in Las Vegas next week, leading to a warm-up game against Canada on July 10.

Coach Steve Kerr Discusses Team USA’s Strategy for LeBron James and Stephen Curry

According to reports, Team USA intends to position LeBron James as a point forward. While it allows LeBron to handle the ball more, Stephen Curry will primarily play off the ball.

During a Zoom press conference last week, Coach Steve Kerr provided some insights on this strategy to the reporters.

I’ve talked to both of them about this idea of being together after going against one another with such high stakes over the years. They obviously fit really well together. I think the idea of Steph playing off the ball and LeBron pushing it in transition, that’s pretty intriguing. And obviously Steph will play on the ball as well and LeBron has become such a good shooter, but they’re both so good at so many different areas of the game,” Kerr said.

The NBA world is now buzzing to see the team play of James and Curry. Like the fans, both LeBron and Curry are also excited for their teaming up for the first time on the basketball court.

I think they’re really excited to compete together for the first time and to find, over the course of practices and the friendlies, to find some of the nuances that they can really exploit and explore, too, just to see where they can have an impact for each other,” Kerr added.
