The Bayou Barbie who became the Chi-Town Barbie has seemingly upgraded her name once again.

Chicago Sky rookie Angel Reese recently posted a couple of pictures on social media with her Sky uniform and the caption “League BARBIE.”

With six games played in her WNBA career, Angel Reese has shown promise on the court. In Chicago’s three victories this season, she has averaged 11 points and 8.62 rebounds per game. She has also made several huge plays on both ends of the court, per ESPN.com.

With Reese and Cardoso, the Sky have their frontcourt of the future in place as they look to compete during this current campaign.

At the age of 22, she has accomplished several notable feats, including becoming the first female NCAA national champion, leading her team in a growing rivalry with Caitlin Clark that has been compared to the rivalry between Magic Johnson and Larry Bird in the 1980s, and becoming a rising pop culture icon. She has also won an ESPY for Breakthrough Athlete of the Year, walked the red carpet at the Met Gala, and starred in a music video with Cardi B and Latto.

Angel Reese Fires Back At Charles Barkley, Saying WNBA Players Should Stop Giving Caitlin Clark a Hard Time

After Charles Barkley said that other WNBA players should quit being “petty” and give Caitlin Clark credit for securing the league’s private charter flights, visibility, and other benefits, Angel Reese had some words to say to both Clark and Barkley.

Barkley criticized several WNBA players last week for supposedly mistreating Clark while she was on the court. Barkley contends that rather than criticizing Clark, the league’s female players ought to express gratitude for all of the reforms that have been made.

According to Reese, teams need more than just one player on a “charter flight” to be successful. “And that’s on getting a win in a packed out [arena], not just cause of one player on our charter flight,” she tweeted.

Patrick Mahomes Makes Shocking Confession About Travis Kelce & Taylor Swift

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce may have won over Taylor Swift’s heart with his charming personality and looks, but teammate Patrick Mahomes believes he deserves some credit for helping the power couple come together.

Patrick Mahomes’ Chiefs received plenty more media coverage and attention than usual in 2023, and not just because they won another Super Bowl. It was largely thanks to Kelce’s relationship with the Grammy Award-winning singer that went public last fall.

Swift attended the majority of Chiefs games in 2023, including their entire postseason run that ended with a victory over the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58.

During his appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show”, Patrick Mahomes made an interesting confession for Kelce: The two-time league MVP claims that he was the one who got the ball rolling on the Kelce-Swift thing:

“I like to take some of the credit. I was the one who invited Travis to his first Taylor concert…He was sitting in my suite, so I feel like I was the matchmaker. I had some input in there… ‘Just go for it. Just go for it.’ And you know Travis man, he does it…I’m glad it’s all worked out for the best.”

They haven’t been together for a full year yet, but there’s already speculation that Kelce will soon propose to Swift. Multiple reports have suggested otherwise, but only Kelce and Swift know deep down if that’s on the table right now.

Mahomes didn’t put together his best statistical season in 2023 (4,183 passing yards, 27 touchdowns and a career-high 14 interceptions), but he saved his best for when it mattered most as usual.

In four playoff games, Mahomes completed 69.8 percent of pass attempts for 1,051 yards, six touchdowns and one interception as KC completed the first Super Bowl repeat since the 2004 New England Patriots.
