TV presenter Gabby Logan has opened up about her health struggles, revealing that she feared for her career due to the effects of menopause. The 51 year old shared that she was particularly worried about forgetting people’s names due to brain fog, a common symptom of menopause.

To combat this, Gabby, who will host Scotland v Hungary as they face off in Sunday’s Euro 2024 tournament, started hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and noticed a significant improvement.

The Welsh star also revealed that she now does regular brain exercises to stay sharp and has adjusted her working methods to alleviate her worries. She always keeps a piece of paper handy on set to jot down important points she needs to remember.

Gabby confessed that the brain fog “affected her the most”, saying: “Feeling slightly unsure about things was such an unfamiliar feeling and I thought, ‘Oh, God, am I going to keep doing my job if I can’t recall somebody’s name?
