Graham Walker, the half-brother of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, is transferring to another Division 1 football program.

Per Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk, Walker is transferring to Rice after spending the last three years at Brown. Walker will play wide receiver for the Owls, perhaps pushing himself closer to one day joining Patrick Mahomes in the pros.

Walker is the son of Pat Mahomes Sr., a former Major League Baseball pitcher whose career spanned from 1992 to 2003. Mahomes Sr. had Graham with Jessamyn Walker, who has primarily raised the child with partner Gerry Howatt (Graham’s stepfather).

The 6-foot-3, 215-pound Walker recorded 44 receptions for 515 yards and six touchdowns in his final season at Brown. He had his best statistical season in 2021, recording 53 receptions for 658 yards and six scores.

Like his old man, Patrick Mahomes was a star baseball player in high school and college. He played the sport at Texas Tech before choosing the path of football. Despite this, the Detroit Tigers drafted Mahomes in the 37th round of the 2014 MLB Draft, just in case he decided to switch career paths.

Patrick Mahomes & Chiefs Aim For Three-Peat

Mahomes and the Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl 58 to become the first team to repeat since the 2003 and ’04 New England Patriots. Up next, KC will try to make history as the first team to win three straight Super Bowls.

There have been some fairly close calls, including the 1990 49ers and 1994 Dallas Cowboys, who lost the NFC Championship Game after winning consecutive Super Bowls. The Patriots won it all in 2016 and 2018, but lost the big game to the Philadelphia Eagles in 2017.

Kansas City’s quest to a three-peat will begin against old friend Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens in the NFL Kickoff Game on Sept.

Presumptive No. 1 overall draft pick Caleb Williams is getting set to embark on his NFL career with the Chicago Bears.

The USC quarterback has been compared to many quarterbacks before he has taken an NFL snap, but one video really brings home that point.

Somebody created a 2-minute video showing the shocking similarities between Caleb Williams and Aaron Rodgers and it starts from their trash-talking, to hand movements, to overall play on the field.

It should be noted that Caleb Williams would love this video as he has previously said he views Aaron Rodgers as the greatest of all time and models his game after the Jets QB.

During an interview with CBS Sports, Williams gave Tom Brady a shoutout for his mentality and winning ways but said that Rodgers is the greatest in his eyes.
