Fans were concerned for Noah Lyles, given the events that unfolded after he ran the 200m final at the 2024 Summer Olympic Games on Thursday.

The American track star previously won the 100m by the tightest of margins but registered a time of 19.70 for a third-place finish in Thursday’s race.

Lyles lay down on the track and appeared to be breathing heavily after his sprint. He was subsequently wheeled out of the arena.

His mother has since told NBC Sports her son tested positive for COVID-19 two days ago but chose to run anyway.

“Noah Lyles probably risked his life for that race. Apparently he got diagnosed with covid two days ago, on top of him already having asthma. I pray he’s okay, seriously,” someone wrote on social media.

“Pray for Noah 🙏  He’s human,” another user urged.

“That’s scary. I hope he recovers fine. Especially if he has asthma! 🙏” one comment read.

The “Hawk Tuah” Girl, Haliey Welch, has teased a huge announcement that she should be dropping this Thursday.

By now, you must know that Haliey is pretty famous and has been rubbing shoulders with celebrities since her viral moment, most recently Jake Paul.

The 21-year-old Tennessee native is also crushing it on social media and is nearing 2 million followers on Instagram, which she is expected to hit by the end of the week.

It appears she is looking to have better contact with her fans and possibly launch a community, which is what we gleaned from a video she posted to her IG story this week.

“I just wanna say thank you for being here and supporting me through everything, and to let you know that I would not be here without any of you,” she says in the clip below.

“And I’ve been thinking of a way to get in contact with y’all better and we’re in the works of it to bring all the community together and I can get in better contact with you and get to know all of you.
