Social media couldn’t believe their eyes:

Prior to the game, the banner was unfurled, hoisted, and set next to the 2022 one. The Aces were also presented with their title rings. The announced sellout audience of 10,419 was then invited to join in on “We are the Champions” during the game’s first timeout. That is the biggest attendance the Aces have ever had at Michelob Ultra Arena, per WNBA.com.

As for the game on Tuesday night, the two-time champion Las Vegas Aces defeated the Phoenix Mercury 89-80 despite a late comeback by A’ja Wilson, who finished with 30 points and 13 rebounds.

For Las Vegas, Jackie Young added 23 points, and Kelsey Plum contributed five assists to her 19 points.
