ONE General Hospital alum has hinted at possibly returning to the daytime soap opera after the producer’s recent tease.

Bryan Craig, who played Morgan Stone Corinthos on General Hospital, wrote a questionable tweet that has fans hopeful for his comeback.

Last week, the show’s executive producer, Frank Valentini, said a former cast member would be returning for its summer season.

He announced the news on ABC 7’s On the Red Carpet night during the 51st Annual Daytime Emmy Awards, where the show secured its fourth win for Outstanding Daytime Drama Series.

“A former cast member is coming back and I think the audience will go crazy… for him,” said the exec.

It didn’t take long for General Hospital fans to guess who might be returning, with Bryan at the top of some fans’ lists.

Bryan was on the show from 2013 to 2016 when his character, Morgan, was seemingly killed in a car bombing — although his body was never found.

In 2017, he returned to the show for a guest appearance as he showed up in Ava Jerome’s dream.

Fans of the soap, which has been airing since 1963, went crazy over the idea of his character’s return.

“Ughh.. Don’t tease us and get our hopes up,” one person responded to his tweet.

“Are you trying to tell us something, Bryan?” asked a third.

“Bryan, I hope you are not teasing us. I would love to see you back on #GH,” a fourth wrote.

“Well I’m hoping it’s Morgan because we fans have only been screaming for years to bring Morgan back because he is the favorite character among fans so I’m hoping we finally get Morgan back after all these years,” another said of Bryan’s GH character.

NARROWING IT DOWN

After hearing Frank’s initial announcement, fans have been speculating which other character could be on their way back to Port Charles.

Along with Bryan, some think it could be Jonathan Jackson, who played Lucky Spencer, or Jack Wagner, who played Frisco Jones.

“I would love it to be Jonathan Jackson (Lucky),” one person recently tweeted.

“Hope [praying hands] it’s Lucky or Nathan West !!!” a second added.

“Iam hoping that the return will be SPENCER!!!” a third exclaimed.

Despite the excitement, some viewers are also worried the comeback could lead to disappointment.

“Unless it’s someone fans have been screaming for to return for years like oh Morgan then yah we will lo e that but given how they refuse to listen to the fans,my guess is it will be someone we don’t care about and it will be a big let down like always, we have to wait and see,” one person wrote.

The character’s return comes after the General Hospital family has dealt with some losses in recent months.

Actor Johnny Wactor, who played Brando Corbin, was shot and killed in a Los Angeles parking lot on May 25.

One of the show’s early stars, Robyn Bernard, was also found dead in an open field in California on March 12.
