NFL fans sounded off on Marlon Humphrey’s Donald Trump tweet after the Baltimore Ravens star voiced an opinion on Saturday’s assassination attempt.

The former United States President sustained a gunshot wound to his right ear in what was an unsuccessful attempt on his life while he was speaking at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The incident has the whole world talking, with plenty of celebrities and athletes sharing their reactions on social media.

The Ravens cornerback was among sports personalities to post about the near assassination online, claiming the former POTUS, “took that bullet for America.”


“He’s a real one bro,” one wrote. “Country finally seeing it. I’m glad he’s okay.”

“I couldn’t agree more,” another said. “Less importantly, been a Ravens fan since 2008 and can say this is one of the few truthful tweets of importance put on display. Thanks Marlon.”

“And then he stood up & told everyone to keep fighting before they took him away not knowing how bad he was injured,” a third wrote.

“He’s been doing that figuratively, but now he did physically,” said a fourth.

Former UFC Champ Sean Strickland had a bold reaction to the former president, writing, “Wow…. Trump is an utter savage…..Balls of steel…”


Jorge Masvidal expressed concern for Trump’s health, writing, “God loves this man! I’m happy that President Trump is ok.”


Khabib Nurmagomedov’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz, wrote, “Democrats can’t beat him fairly and now they have to stoop this low. If they did this what a shame. Trump 2024 P4P.”


Colby Covington showed his respect for the former president, writing, “President Trump is the toughest man on the face of this earth.”
