The actors were interviewed by Sam Thompson, 30, for Hits Radio UK and during the chat the Made in Chelsea star asked Harrison about his appearance in his eighties.

In a teaser clip, Sam is heard asking: “You’re in great nick. […] What are you using on your face in terms of creams?” Harrison is said to share that he uses “soap and water”.

He’s said to have revealed that he doesn’t necessarily feel youthful, saying: “I don’t feel more youthful than anyone else. I feel my age and I understand my age and I understand what one does at this stage of your life.”

During the interview, Harrison is said to have also been asked if he would be tempted to reprise the character again in the future but responded to Sam’s question: “No”.

He has stated elsewhere whilst promoting the new film that he won’t appear as Indiana Jones again, after having played the character in four sequels since his debut.

The film series – which was created by George Lucas – began with Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and continued with The Temple of Doom (1984) and The Last Crusade (1989).

Following an absence for almost three decades, Harrison reprised the character in The Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008) and now once again in The Dial of Destiny (2023).

Harrison has been praised for his decades-long portrayal of Indiana Jones ahead of the new film and was said to have been overcome with emotion as he received a five-minute standing ovation at the Cannes Film Festival.
