It appears that not all people are in favor of how Kobe Bryant’s widow, Vanessa Bryant, is spending her money after her husband’s tragic passing in 2020.

Vanessa Bryant is trending in a negative light on social media and it is all because of Dr. Umar.

In a recent episode of The Joe Budden Podcast, Dr. Umar challenged the notion of Eminem as one of the greatest rappers while also accusing Vanessa of not using Kobe Bryant’s money toward the black community.

“Vanessa[Bryant] inherited his [Kobe’s] wealth. Is Vanessa Bryant using any of that black man’s money to do any good in the black community? Absofu**inglutely not.” He then added, “No one knows that,” . . .

In reality, the 42-year-old maintained the legacy of the Kobe & Vanessa Bryant Family Foundation, which is “dedicated to improving the lives of youth and families in need, and encouraging young people to stay active through sports.”

Kobe started the foundation alongside his wife in 2006.

The foundation has provided scholarships to minority college students while partnering with Make A Wish Foundation. Apart from this, the model also handles the Mamba & Mambacita Sports Foundation. It is named after . . .

In the meantime, Vanessa Bryant announced that her late husband would be receiving a statue at Crypto.com Arena.

Kobe will be the seventh Laker to be honored with a statue.

Luka Doncic is on cloud nine right now, as things seem to be going in the right direction for him. His team, the Dallas Mavericks, has qualified for the 2024 NBA Finals after his MVP-winning performance in the WCF, while his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid, bagged the UEFA Champions League title for the fifteenth time. After the Spanish giants defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in a match in London’s Wembley Stadium, the Slovenian sent a special request to the club’s star Toni Kroos.

The German midfielder was one of the key contributors in the match, providing an assist to teammate Dani Carvajal which led to the club’s opening goal. Kroos was rewarded with the player of the match in the last ever game he played in the Madrid jersey.

After spending a decade with the Los Blancos, the 34-year-old announced his retirement, but Doncic, like any other fan, clearly didn’t have enough of him. On his X (formerly known as Twitter) post, the Mavs guard wrote, “Toni Kroos no te retires por favor!!” in Spanish, which means “Toni Kroos please don’t retire!!”

Doncic was a former Real Madrid basketball player before joining the Mavericks, which explains his love for the club.

Earlier, Kroos had congratulated Doncic after the Mavericks’ Western Conference Finals series win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where the latter made a huge contribution.

Recently on ESPN’s Get Up, the Celtics great boldly stated, “Is Luka a top five player in the NBA? He is. But he still has to complete the mission of winning the NBA championship before we anoint him of being the best player in the world.”

Doncic is averaging 28.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game in the playoffs. With such massive numbers, the 25-year-old guard has led the team to the Finals, where they will fight against the 17-time champions Boston Celtics. The 5-time All-Star will prove his doubters wrong if he can snatch the series win to etch his name in the history books.
