Jason Kelce gets brutally honest about his life without the Eagles and the NFL

For the first time since 2010, the Philadelphia Eagles are going to enter an NFL season without Jason Kelce. The Eagles’ longtime center announced his retirement following the 2023 season in order to pursue a career in broadcasting — and Kelce’s new gig for ESPN will bring him back to Philadelphia for an early-season Monday Night Football game.

Kelce, who also co-hosts the “New Heights” podcast with his younger brother, has stayed busy in retirement as he prepares for a new chapter in his life away from the gridiron. But on the newest episode of “New Heights,” Jason discussed what his first offseason away from Philly’s facilities has been like.

Kelce and the Eagles feel each other’s absence

Jason and Travis Kelce on Wednesday talked about summer training on the new episode of “New Heights.” While Travis is gearing up for a third consecutive Super Bowl title defense with the Kansas City Chiefs, Jason has spent some time reflecting on how “weird” it is not to be working alongside his now-former teammates in Philly.

“It feels weird not going into the building and man, it’s just the little conversations you have,” Jason said of his first offseason since his March retirement. “You’ll realize it, Trav, once it’s gone.”

The older Kelce brother announced he was stepping away this past spring after a decorated 13-year NFL career. He won a Super Bowl with the Eagles — the first and only such championship in the franchise’s modern history — while earning seven Pro Bowl nods and six first-team All-Pro designations.

As Jason discussed how “weird” it was not to be talking about the playbook or various improvements the Eagles could make, Philly lineman Jordan Mailata told reporters he too found it weird not to have the “GOAT” center around anymore. It certainly feels like the Eagles’ 2024 season will be one of adjustment for everybody — even for a player no longer with the team.

NFL Fans Are Disgusted By Jason Kelce’s Unusual Hygiene Routine

Jason Kelce is one of the most prominent figures in the NFL, even after retirement. He played all 13 seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles and is synonymous with the franchise he began playing with, in 2011.

Kelce is more famous for his on-the-field play than his off-the-field shenanigans; however, now that his NFL career has come to an end, he has been making the rounds in post-career endeavors, including an appearance in the WWE ring.

The WWE matches aren’t what Kelce has in the news right now, as he has revealed an interesting personal hygiene detail, which disgusts some fans. According to Kelce himself, the former Super Bowl champion does not wash his feet!

This was made apparent after one social media user posted to X stating that he “looks like he doesn’t watch his legs or feet.” The former NFL All-pro replied to the X post with a hilarious comment confirming the suspicions saying, “what kind of weirdo washes their feet.”

Could Jason Kelce Be In The Right For Not Washing His Feet?

Not all of the replies to Kelce’s comment were negative, to say the least. One fan commented on Kelce’s reply with a chart of the human body with a scale that goes between “water will get it” and “deep scrub,” which helps the future Hall of Famer’s case.

Kelce then replied to that comment saying that he was going to steal that, and one fan joking replied to Kelce’s reply saying, “Whoa, what about the knee pits?” And this fan does have a point, but let’s hope for Kelce’s sake that the knees include the knee pits.

Some fans are disgusted, but that doesn’t change Kelce’s mind. So, what more can we learn about the former All-Pro center?
