On Wednesday, the first of five exhibition games ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA beat Team Canada 86-72. The game was another highlight of why NBA fans are crazy for LeBron James.

The Los Angeles Lakers legend was once again the star of the game in the USA Showdown game. The former Boston Celtics legend, Kevin Garnett, was particularly shocked to see the 40-year-old star’s performance.

“Lord! Bron could play 10 more years in a Draymond role”, Garnett wrote in his X account while throwing a subtle dig at Draymond Green.

James played 19 minutes during the game, recording seven points, five rebounds, three assists, and three steals.

Apart from him, Anthony Edwards added 13 points, Steph Curry recorded 12 points, and Jrue Holiday was instrumental with 11 points.

NBA Fans Weigh on Kevin Garnett’s Comment on LeBron James

While LeBron James’ eldest son, Bronny James, is in the limelight for his underwhelming performance in the Summer League, interestingly his father, in the twilight of his career, averaged almost the same as when he started his NBA career.

After LeBron’s dashing performance against the Canadian team, NBA fans found all sorts of things to do to join Kevin Garnett in praising James.

In the fans’ eyes, James’ durability is at a level that could help him play for a few more years.

Meanwhile, few fans particularly found Garnett’s bold comparison of LeBron and Green interesting.

Team USA’s exhibition game is against Australia on July 15. The LeBron James and Co will begin their Olympic campaign on July 28.
