THE TRAITORS viewers have revealed they’re into the newly announced cast but mentioned that one contestant would be better off on Claim to Fame.

On Wednesday, host Alan Cumming, 59, revealed the Season 3 cast in an exclusive clip aired on The Today Show.

On June 5, the two-time Tony Award winner sat in the Scottish mansion where The Traitors is set and annouced the 21 people competing during its third season from a folded parchment.

“The new season of The Traitors cast is unlocked at last,” Alan said before reading the name of each participant.

The list included Vanderpump Rules star Tom Sandoval, 41, Survivor alum Rob Mariano, 48, Britney Spears’ ex-husband Sam Asghari, 30, former WWE Superstar Nikki Garcia, 40, and much to some fans’ surprise, Dylan Efron, 32.

Dylan is the brother of actor Zac Efron, 36, and appeared in the latter’s reality series, Down to Earth with Zac Efron.

“Why isn’t Zac efron’s brother on claim to fame?? lol,” asked another.

They continued, “Now this guy is going to have to go around telling everyone he’s Zac efron’s brother.”

The “who is Dylan” sentiment continued as a third person tweeted, “wait i’m just now deeping… zac efron’s brother????? did he get lost on the way to the claim to fame mansion like what is he doing here????”

A fourth commenter asked, “How can we get britney’s ex and zac efron’s brother on claim to fame and trade them for LC and logan?”

“I would say zac efron’s brother should’ve waited for claim to fame but he kinda looks way too much like him they’d clock it immediately,” considered another.

While many fans seemed bewildered by Dylan’s inclusion, some revealed being downright angry that Tom Sandoval will be getting more screen time.

On X, Traitor fans didn’t hold back their contempt for the Bravo star.

“I swear if f**king Tom Sandoval is The Traitors season 3 and/or doesn’t get killed first I’m gonna be sooo mad,” one person said.

“Traitor or not they ALL need to come together first and get rid of Sandoval The Worm With a Mustache!!!!”

“I don’t want to see him on my screen EVER!! I can see him now on Traitors trying to convince others he KNOWS EVERYTHING!! Do the watchers a favor SEND HIM PACKING!!!” a second person raged.

“The ONLY good one on this rumored list is Britney. No one wants to see Sandoval again,” a third social media user echoed.

“Sandoval better get eliminated first if he’s on this season of The Traitors,” wrote a fourth.

“I hoped and prayed someone from Vanderpump would be on The Traitors…but I didn’t think it’d be HIM I’m sick of his face, hell I’d even take Schwartz on the show before Sandoval,” blasted a final commenter.

Tom is a controversial figure due to last year’s Scandoval drama

In March 2023, it was discovered that he was unfaithful to his longtime girlfriend and fellow VPR co-star, Ariana Madix, 38.

Tom cheated on Ariana with their co-star Rachel Leviss, who has now taken Tom and Ariana to court over their actions during the affair.

Tom lost a lot of fans throughout the affair, being accused of gaslighting Ariana.

The reality TV star has moved on with his new girlfriend Victoria Lee Robinson, but many fans haven’t forgiven his past transgressions.

THE TRAITORS

The Traitors is a reality show where contestants “murder” and “banish” each other to be the last ones standing to win the money at the end.

Three contestants will be chosen to be Traitors while the rest will be Faithfuls.

Alan will return to host the Peacock show but aside from the host and the 21 contestants, no other details have yet been announced – including the release date.

The identity of the Traitors will be revealed in the premiere.

The cast, separated into Faithfuls and Traitors, compete in challenges to build the prize pot.

In between the missions, the competitors try to determine who is a Traitor and who is not.

They vote to banish one person at the Round Table and another is “murdered” the next morning at breakfast until only a handful remain.

Season 1 featured a mix of celebrities and everyday people.

Survivor and Big Brother star Cirie Fields was the sole winner and took home $250,000.

She deceived everyone and no one believed she was a Traitor.

Big Brother’s Cody Calafiore, The Bachelorette’s Arie Luyendyk Jr., and veteran Christian de la Torre were also Traitors.

In Season 2, the Faithfuls took out all of the Traitors.

The Challenge’s Chris “CT” Tamburello and Trishelle Cannatella won and split $208,100.

The Traitors last season were Big Brother’s Dan Gheesling, Survivor’s Parvati Shallow, and The Real Housewife of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks.
