Chiefs TE Travis Kelce Used Two Words To Describe Girlfriend Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce is opening up even more about how he knew Taylor Swift belonged with him.

The Kelce and Swift families are reportedly set to meet for the first time during Monday Night Football, but the Chiefs tight end spoke to the Wall Street Journal about all things NFL and Taylor Swift.

He would describe the pop star as “Genius” and “hilarious.”

“I don’t know if I want to get into all of it,” the Kansas City Chiefs tight end began in the cover interview for WSJ Magazine’s December/January issue.

He then confessed, “There were definitely people she knew that knew who I was, in her corner [who said]: Yo! Did you know he was coming? I had somebody playing Cupid.”

Swift confirmed dating rumors when she attended a Chiefs game in September.

“She’ll probably hate me for saying this, but when she came to Arrowhead, they gave her the big locker room as a dressing room, and her little cousins were taking pictures…in front of my locker,” he revealed.

Swift has also been photographed cheering on her man at numerous football games over the course of the 2023 season alongside Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany, Kelce’s parents Donna and Ed, and a slew of her famous friends.

As for their first in-person meeting, Kelce said, “When I met her in New York, we had already kind of been talking, so I knew we could have a nice dinner and, like, a conversation, and what goes from there will go from there.”

This is Kelce’s highest-profile relationship, he said, noting that he’s “never dated anyone with that kind of aura about them.”

His last relationship was with Kayla Nicole, and although she is somewhat known, she was always described as Travis Kelce’s girlfriend as many folks just learned of her name this year.
