Sister Wives’ Kody Brown snubbed on Father’s Day as dad of 18 received no tributes from children after nasty family feud

Plus, which fathers were recognized by the TLC stars and details on Kody’s relationship with his kids

SISTER Wives star Kody Brown has been snubbed by all of his kids on social media this Father’s Day.

Kody, 55, was absent from all Father’s Day tributes on Sunday as the polygamist has been in a feud with most of his family.

The Sister Wives star shares 18 kids between his three ex-wives, Christine, 52, Meri, 53, and Janelle, 55, and his only remaining wife, Robyn, 45.

However, as the family has become more fractured over the last year, Kody has not been included in any celebratory posts.

The snub was noted on Reddit, where TLC fans discussed Kody’s involvement in his kids’ lives recently.

“Sadly Kody will likely only hear Robyn and her kids singing his praises and turn a blind eye to his other kids’ silence. Or he’ll see this as his kids being ‘ungrateful’ or something like that,” one person wrote.

“He has failed as a father to his non-Robyn kids. His view on being a dad is so disappointing to hear. It’s HIS job to be a dad and reach out, not the other way around,” a second wrote.

“The kids he was going to punch in the face didn’t wish him Happy Father’s Day? Shocking!” said a third.

“I don’t blame his kids one bit for not posting anything to him. Why should they? He abandoned every single one of them for Robyn and her kids,” a fourth wrote.

“He’s not much of a father at all. Doesn’t surprise me,” another said.

RECOGNIZING OTHERS

Christine shared an Instagram post but left Kody out as she showed her now-blended family with her new husband, David Woolley.

The photos showed Christine’s and Kody’s kids spending time with David as she honored him as a father.

Sister Wives’ Robyn Brown breaks down in tears and slams Christine in explosive reunion sneak peek
“Happy Father’s Day @david__woolley, I have loved watching you be a Dad. It was what I found most attractive about you,” she wrote in the caption.

Kody and Janelle’s oldest daughter, Madison, also gave a shoutout to her husband, Caleb Brush, with an Instagram video.

“Happy Father’s Day to the most patient, kind, and attentive dad I know! We are incredibly blessed to have you in our lives and to love you,” she wrote.

DRIFTING APART

Season 18 of Sister Wives showed the tumultuous relationship between Kody and his ex-wives, along with their kids.

Who are Kody Brown’s wives and children?

Kody Brown shares 18 children with Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn. TLC’s Sister Wives showed the demise of his marriages to Meri, Janelle and Christine, as he only remains married to Robyn today.

Kody spent much of his time thinking his kids should have contacted him instead of doing so himself.

Earlier this year, Kody slipped into a depressive state after Garrison, his and Janelle’s 25-year-old son, committed suicide.

Kody and Garrison were still estranged before his death, and he remains estranged from his other kids Leon and Gabe.

Prior to his death, it was known to fans that Garrison had a tumultuous relationship with his father for years.

In Season 18 of Sister Wives, Garrison and his younger brother discussed the strained relationship with Kody and his last-standing wife.

A source also told The U.S. Sun that “Kody pushed his family away for a very long time,” adding that the boys were “at the forefront of the pain.”

Another insider said the boys “weren’t stepping down” after their fight with Kody and “wanted nothing to do” with him.

NOT AS CLOSE

When it comes to the wives, Meri recently opened up about her relationship with Christine and Janelle.

During an appearance on the Miss Understood podcast, she said she doesn’t speak to her former sister wives as much as she used to.

“When I see them we have cordial conversations, but I don’t seek them out to have a relationship,” Meri explained.

“I feel like we had a lot of time to be able to do that, and in the past – a little bit over a year since I separated myself, when Kody and I separated and were done – I’ve had a lot of things I’m working on in myself.”

“I think it’s really really important to be surrounded by people that really encourage that,” the TLC star added.
