Jared Goff and Christen Harper first met on a dating app. No one knew their relationship would progress to the point where they would marry one day.

That is exactly what happened when the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit’s Rookie of the Year in 2022 got engaged to the Detroit Lions quarterback in the same year.

Then, Jared Goff married his longtime girlfriend, Christen Harper, in a private ceremony in California last month.

This week, the newlywed couple took off to Saint Tropez to attend the lavish wedding of former Michigan Wolverines signal-caller Wilton Speight.

Soon afterward, the couple would get to enjoy their honeymoon as Harper posted herself in a polka-dot dress while walking around Hydra, which is an island in Greece.

Her spiciest picture showed Jared Goff’s wife sporting a multi-colored two-piece bikini as she stood on a boat and held what was presumably champagne in her hand.

While they both have busy careers, Harper makes sure to fit in some time to attend his football games. She has also attended red carpet events together, like the ESPY Awards.

Detroit Lions Make Longterm Financial Commitment To Jared Goff After Standout Season

The Detroit Lions announced in May that they were signing QB Jared Goff to a contract extension through the 2028 season.

ESPN‘s Adam Schefter reported the Lions gave him a four-year, $212 million extension, which was the richest in team history with $170 million in guaranteed money.

His first season with the team after being traded by the Rams saw Detroit finish 3–13-1.

Last season, Goff turned it up as he completed 67.3% of his passes for 4,575 yards and 30 touchdowns to go along with 12 interceptions.

He led Detroit to a 12–5 record and the franchise’s first playoff win in 32 years when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the wild-card playoff round

REPORT: Dallas Cowboys Have Suddenly Emerged As Overwhelming Favorites To Sign Superstar WR Michael Thomas Following Latest Update

A new favorite has emerged to land former New Orleans Saints All-Pro wide receiver Michael Thomas as the 2024 regular season approaches.

Earlier this season, the Saints released Michael Thomas in a cap-saving move following another injury-riddled season. With training camp just around the corner, the 2019 Offensive Player of the Year surprisingly remains a free agent.

According to BetOnline, the Dallas Cowboys are the overwhelming favorites to sign Thomas at +300. The Buffalo Bills are a distant second on the odds list at +500, followed by the Baltimore Ravens (+600), Denver Broncos (hello, Sean Payton), Kansas City Chiefs (+1000) and Jacksonville Jaguars (+1000).

Since 2022, it’s been obvious that the Cowboys need adequate wide receiver depth to complement superstar CeeDee Lamb. Tight end Jake Ferguson was Dallas’ second-leading receiver in 2023 with a 71-761-5 stat line.

So Michael Thomas makes good sense for the Cowboys here. Even if the former Pro Bowler is well past his prime, “Can’t Guard Mike” could at least be a useful No. 3 or No. 4 pass-catcher and red zone target.

It’s worth noting that the Saints visit the Cowboys in Week 2. So if Thomas were to sign with Dallas, he wouldn’t have to wait long for revenge against his former team.

In his final season with the Saints, Thomas recorded 39 receptions for 448 yards and one touchdown. For his career, the 31-year-old has 565 receptions for 6,569 yards and 36 touchdowns.

Michael Thomas’ Career Has Been Marred By Injuries

The 2016 second-round pick was on a Hall of Fame trajectory early in his career, recording over 90 receptions and more than 1,100 yards in each of his first four seasons. Thomas set a new single-season record for receptions (149) back in 2019, which still stands today.

Unfortunately, a string of injuries have quickly derailed Thomas’ chances of earning a spot in Canton. He missed all but seven games in 2020, the entire 2021 season, 14 games in 2022 and seven games last year
