Shannon Sharpe’s ‘Club Shay Shay’ is gaining a reputation as a platform for comedy beef following that bombshell Katt Williams interview.

Now, it appears the former NFL tight end has his own beef with a comedian.

Sharpe went scorched earth on Mike Epps during his other show, the ‘Nightcap’, over a joke in which the entertainer seemed to insinuate Sharpe was gay and made claims of the Hall of Famer reaching out to get him on ‘Club Shay Shay’.

Sharpe didn’t call Epps out by name, but it didn’t take a lot of effort to figure out who he was referring to after footage of a certain stand-up surfaced on the weekend.

“That N Shannon Sharpe called me trying to do an interview,” Epps said. “I said ‘no Madea, I ain’t doing no interview with you’ – so you can sit across from me and look at my balls.

“The N S- is called Shay Shay the N is telling you. Put a wig on that M -er and tell me if that ain’t M -ing Madea sister.”

Sharpe hit back at the comedian via his ‘Nightcap’ podcast, with Chad Johnson letting him know he has his back, though he claimed to have no idea who his co-host was referencing.

“Mention my name again, and I’m gonna put the DMs [out],” Sharpe said. “And I don’t like doing this. But you’re lying.”

He added:

“I don’t care about all that other stuff. You can say I’m gay … I don’t care about that.

“‘Cause I won’t chase a lie. But I won’t let you lie on my name. Say my name again, and I’m gonna release the DM. Because you’re lying.

“You said I reached out to you to come on Club Shay Shay, and you’re a mofo liar. Now when I see you, I’m gon’ see if you’re about that. I’m gon’ see if you want to say what you been saying, trying to get some jokes because you got mad because Katt Williams did what he did.

“Now when I see you, I’m gonna see if you really about that. Say my name again… I got something for your A-.”

Well, we can’t wait for them to meet up now…

Luka Doncic is on cloud nine right now, as things seem to be going in the right direction for him. His team, the Dallas Mavericks, has qualified for the 2024 NBA Finals after his MVP-winning performance in the WCF, while his favorite soccer team, Real Madrid, bagged the UEFA Champions League title for the fifteenth time. After the Spanish giants defeated Borussia Dortmund 2-0 in a match in London’s Wembley Stadium, the Slovenian sent a special request to the club’s star Toni Kroos.

The German midfielder was one of the key contributors in the match, providing an assist to teammate Dani Carvajal which led to the club’s opening goal. Kroos was rewarded with the player of the match in the last ever game he played in the Madrid jersey.

After spending a decade with the Los Blancos, the 34-year-old announced his retirement, but Doncic, like any other fan, clearly didn’t have enough of him. On his X (formerly known as Twitter) post, the Mavs guard wrote, “Toni Kroos no te retires por favor!!” in Spanish, which means “Toni Kroos please don’t retire!!”

Doncic was a former Real Madrid basketball player before joining the Mavericks, which explains his love for the club.

Earlier, Kroos had congratulated Doncic after the Mavericks’ Western Conference Finals series win against the Minnesota Timberwolves, where the latter made a huge contribution.

Luka Doncic Needs NBA Finals Win

After showing his stellar performance the entire season, many have considered Luka Doncic the best player in the NBA, but Kendrick Perkins still believes the Mavericks ace has to win on the big stage to prove himself.

Recently on ESPN’s Get Up, the Celtics great boldly stated, “Is Luka a top five player in the NBA? He is. But he still has to complete the mission of winning the NBA championship before we anoint him of being the best player in the world.”

Doncic is averaging 28.8 points, 9.6 rebounds, and 8.8 assists per game in the playoffs. With such massive numbers, the 25-year-old guard has led the team to the Finals, where they will fight against the 17-time champions Boston Celtics. The 5-time All-Star will prove his doubters wrong if he can snatch the series win to etch his name in the history books.
